Here's the fourth weather briefing to keep track of the winter storm that is now approaching Northern Utah and is expected to affect many parts of the state through Monday. Please click on the following link:
Notes from the presentation
Between Friday night and Saturday morning:
Winds will affect the major east-west highways through the state.
Then, through Sunday morning will have a variety of hazardous weather conditions, such as snow accumulating along the Wasatch Front, difficult mountain travel and heightened avalanche danger.
The upside? Better skiing should be coming.

FLOODING:
Flood advisory issued for poor drainage areas of central Morgan, central Weber and western Cache counties.

Break in the weather Friday until late Friday night.
Then, through Sunday morning will have a variety of hazardous weather conditions, such as snow accumulating along the Wasatch Front, sustained winds of 30-40 mph with winds gusting to 60 mph, difficult moutain travel and heightened avalanche danger.

We have a winter storm that's on the way. It is anticipated to arrive in Northern Utah in the late afternoon hours of Friday. This storm will be brief but intense with snow accumulations in the valleys in addition to the mountain areas.
